Speakers' Live Grain Loop Chopper

This is the live loop chopper that we built for live performance last year. It takes live streaming input and allows you to re-trigger the incoming audio on quantized 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 notes, as well as being able to switch to a pattern mode that lets you create 1/32 note sequences. The whole thing runs off a custom granular engine that we built with Martijn Zwartjes. We tied the grain length to the frequency of grains being played. This makes it so that the playback of the audio would be fairly easy to keep neutral in sound if you wanted it to. All the grain parameters can be set back to this neutral position with the press of one button on a specified quantization. We built the whole thing almost entirely in core. Hope you like it, email me with any questions or ideas as we are always up for revising it.
